The Librarians vs. Vendor Bowling Tournament is an annual tradition held after Vendor Day that provides librarians and vendors with a chance to socialize in a more casual environment. Bowling isn't mandatory, but the highest scoring bowler gets their name engraved on the SCELC Bowling Trophy!
Bowling is free to attend, and bowling shoes, food, and soft drinks are provided.
The Raffle Game is a Vendor Day activity that encourages engagement and session attendance. Librarians collect a raffle ticket for each session they attend, and at the end of the day, we hold a raffle with prizes provided by both SCELC and our vendor partners. The more sessions a librarian attends, the more likely they are to win a prize!
