SCELC Members enjoy a number of awards and funding opportunities.

SCELC Members are eligible to receive the following awards and scholarships.

Award for Internship Excellence

An award for students in an ALA-accredited graduate library science program who have completed an internship with distinction in a SCELC Member institution.

Professional Development Award

Reimbursements to enable professional development activities for librarians and staff at SCELC member libraries.

Conference Travel Award

Reimbursements to librarians and staff at SCELC Member institutions to enable in-person conference attendance.

Research Incentive Award

Funding to support research, publishing research, and presenting research in librarianship

Library Science Student Scholarships

Scholarships to currently enrolled library science students who are working in a SCELC Member library. 

SPIF Award

Funding Member institution and committee proposals to plan, create, and implement projects that will have an impact on SCELC libraries and librarians.
