Professional Development for SCELC Institutions

SCELC stays strong when the librarians and staff at our institutions grow their expertise.

Our professional development program consists of original SCELC programming, inter-consortial collaboration like our Professional Development Alliance (PDA), or licensing partnerships like Library Juice Academy.

Professional Development Alliance (PDA)

SCELC is a member of the Professional Development Alliance (PDA), a partnership of the International Council of Library Consortia (ICOLC).

The PDA pools professional development opportunities for alliance members. PDA webinars are freely available to librarians and staff at all SCELC Member and Affiliate Institutions.

Library Juice Academy offers online workshops for librarians and library staff, focusing on practical topics to build new skills. See Library Juice Academy for info.
