The Library Technology Infrastructure Task Force is charged with exploring, evaluating, and recommending advanced technologies and shared infrastructure models for digital resource sharing, data analytics, and research management. This task force will review recommendations from SCELC staff and consultants for technologies that can better serve member libraries and improve overall service delivery, while supporting innovative library services that are AI-infused and future-ready.
Participate in an Ease/Impact, SWOT, PPCO, or similar examination of possible initiatives
Review consultant and staff findings on the technology needs of SCELC member libraries to better support digital collections and resource sharing.
Review consultant and staff findings on recommended platforms for data analytics, research data management, and digital repository support.
Evaluate partnerships and collaborations that can improve shared and AI-enabled technology solutions.
Provide input on MVP for building a shared, scalable, and sustainable technological infrastructure.
Recommend metrics to assess the impact of SCELC Library Technology Infrastructure services.
