The License Agreements Steering Committee advises SCELC on the consortial license agreements that govern the use of electronic resources acquired by SCELC institutions. The committee guides SCELC as it ensures that the Consortial License Program meets the needs of the SCELC community and aligns with the organization’s mission.
The LASC advises SCELC on license terms and priorities, monitors emerging restrictions, promotes best practices for communicating terms, gathers intelligence on library license values and practices, and assesses program performance and alignment with organizational values.
