The SCELC Shared Print Committee (SPC) leads and guides the SCELC Shared Print Program.

Shared Print Committee (SPC)

The SCELC Shared Print Committee (SPC) leads and guides the SCELC Shared Print Program. The SPC makes recommendations to the SCELC Board about policies and procedures necessary to build and sustain the Program, including advising on participation in national shared print programs.

Current Initiatives

  • Pursuing intersection with UC print monograph efforts
  • Finalizing documentation for communicating to libraries about the activities, commitment, and staffing required when onboarding into the Shared Print Program
  • Developing a sustainable funding model to support SCELC Shared Print
  • Ongoing work on carrying out the goals of the IMLS Leadership Grant

Recent Accomplishments

  • 2.9 million titles from 50 institutions retained through the program
  • SHARP Catalog and Discovery System for shared collection released
