Amplifying Library Impact

For Libraries

Collections and Electronic Resources Committee

The SCELC Collections and Electronic Resources (CERC) exists to help SCELC identify, explore, collect data on, evaluate and report on electronic information resources and other products of interest.

Collections & Electronic Resources Committee (CERC)

The Collections and Electronic Resources (CERC) monitors and provides input on electronic resources offered by SCELC to its participating institutions, while also focusing on collections related practices, products, and services

CERC serves as a community of practice for librarians working in collections and e-resource selection, acquisition, and management. By leveraging our collective expertise, CERC equips librarians with tools to evaluate collections and demonstrate collection value to stakeholders.

As an advisory committee to the SCELC Board of Directors, CERC also promotes the participation of SCELC member librarians in SCELC activities, discussions, and decisions.
