Purpose
The License Advisory Committee monitors and provides input on the license agreements governing the electronic resources offered by SCELC to its participating institutions.

Responsibilities
The License Advisory Committee members:
- Introduce and discuss current topics related to electronic resource licensing of interest to the SCELC community.
- Periodically review the SCELC Contract Points and License Checklist documents and propose changes and improvements.
- Advise SCELC staff on methods, best practices, and communication of license agreements to consortium members.
- May from time to time collaborate with other advisory committees, libraries, or the consortium on matters related to license agreements.
