Strategic Plan Briefing

The SCELC Strategic Planning Process is underway!

SCELC will be working with our consultant, Sarah Cohen from Big Questions Collaborative, to develop our 2024 Strategic Plan.

Throughout the process, our community will have many opportunities to add their ideas, thoughts and concerns, to help us define the future of the consortia.

The Process

We are now in Phase 4, vetting and finalizing the plan.

The Strategic Services Survey is now complete and SCELC has analyzed the results and identified 3 strategic pillars:

1. Open Access
2. Library Technologies
3. Return on Investment

Next Steps

SCELC will now bring these proposed Strategic Pillars to the Board for comment and approval on September 26-27. Once approved, SCELC will begin operational planning.
