SCELC Channel One: Vendor Best Practices with CERC

This week's session is all about navigating library-vendor relationships! We've invited SCELC's Collections and Electronic Resources Committee (CERC) to outline their Vendor Best Practices Guidelines that was recently published on our site, "to help library acquisitions and collections personnel in articulating explanations and best practices to existing or prospective vendors."

SCELC Channel One is the virtual hub for our consortial community: a regular but flexible-format group call for SCELCers far and wide. What started in early 2020 as a weekly online COVID-19 pandemic check-in slowly morphed into a monthly standing community discussion group. Topics range from focused webinar content and announcements from SCELC Staff, to guest presentations or even totally free-form watercooler hangouts with your SCELC peers. We keep things as tight or loose as the community needs to be in Channel One.
