Scholarly Communications Committee

Group Description:

SCELC Scholarly Communication Committee is charged to explore, identify and recommend collaborative opportunities to advance scholarly communication in member libraries.  The committee will stay informed and distribute information to member libraries about how collection development is being effected by new scholarly communication models.  The committee will monitor current trends and developments that threaten fair participation in, and open access to, the scholarly record. It will serve as a clearinghouse for the diversity of approaches to preparing our campus communities to leverage changes in the scholarly communication system.
