SCELC and EBSCO are offering significant discounts on Rosetta Stone Library Solutions to academic libraries. Through EBSCO's partnership with Rosetta Stone, the Library Solution product includes level 1 lessons, learning tools, and mobile apps for 30 languages. The PLUS Library Solution includes all levels for each language (up to level 5 for common languages), and is designed to align libraries with ESL/World Language initiatives. This offer is only available to new subscribers at academic institutions. Existing subscribers, corporate and medical institutions are not eligible.

This Rosetta Stone Library Solution product includes:

  • 30 languages to meet a range of cultural interests
  • Core lessons to build reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
  • Focused activities to refine grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and more
  • Mobile apps that enable learners to reinforce language on the go

The Rosetta Stone Library PLUS Solution product includes:

  • All Levels per Language
  • 30 Languages
  • Offering 50+ hours of foundational instruction in each level of each language
  • More common languages such as English and Spanish have 5 levels
  • Languages like Portuguese have 3 levels
  • Less commonly sought after languages like Swahili, have 1 level
  • Content more aligned with libraries that are looking for more in depth learning to align with ESL/World Language initiatives
  • Upon completing level 5 of a Rosetta Stone language, the learner will be a B1 on the Common European Framework of Reference Scale (CEFR) or in layman's terms, should be able to read a newspaper cover to cover in the language they are learning.
