Brill and SCELC have negotiated a shared collection offer that will allow interested SCELC libraries to purchase an ebook backfile of ~1900 books (2007-2014) comprised of 5 subject collections:

  • Asian Studies
  • Biblical Studies, Ancient Near East and Early Christianity 
  • Classical Studies
  • Middle East and Islamic Studies
  • Religious Studies, Theology and Philosophy

Ownership of the collection is available at an extremely deep discounts based on FTE tiers.  Participating libraries will then have the opportunity to share in the purchase of annual updates and consider adding additional subjects going forward. 

Product Description: 

Brill offers a number of E-Book Collections in the Humanities and Social Sciences, Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, International Law and Biology. These collections are hosted on Brill's online platform for electronic books and journals: booksandjournals.brillonline.com.

Books purchased through this offer:

  • are hosted on the Brill Platform
  • are accessible by unlimited simulataneous users
  • include perpetual access rights for every contributing libary
  • can be downloaded by the chapter or as whole books
  • are DRM (Digital Rights Management) Free

The title lists linked below have been customized to include the date range of books that are available through this backfile offer.
