SCELC Colloquium II
Welcome to our second annual SCELC Colloquium! Once again the Colloquium will be held at Loyola Marymount University, the day before Vendor Day.
As in the past, SCELC will provide complimentary continental breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks.
The schedule for the SCELC Colloquium consists of two distinct parts:
Morning Program: An Introduction to the New SCELC ERMS (Electronic Resource Management System)
A new membership benefit now available for all SCELC members is our new consortial ERMS, developed in partnership with Serials Solutions. Come to the SCELC Colloquium on the morning of March to get a crash course on what the SCELC ERMS can do for your library. With the SCELC ERMS you can:
- See all databases, journals and vendors available through SCELC
- Review all licenses and license terms for SCELC-licensed resources
- See which SCELC libraries are subscribing to a particular vendor's product
- Research Serials Solutions' entire knowledgebase of e-resources, even if SCELC licenses a service or not
Included with the SCELC ERMS is an E-Journal Portal which enables SCELC members to see all of the databases, journals, and providers available through SCELC. It also provides a link to terms of use for a wide variety of SCELC resources.
Come and learn about this great new membership benefit, have lunch with your colleagues, and join us for an afternoon of interesting programs:
