SCELC Vendor Day Bowling Tournament of Champions

Join us for the third annual SCELC Vendor Day Bowling Tournament of Champions!

When: 6:00 PM, Wednesday, March 5, for food and drink, then bowling!

Where: El Dorado Lanes (see link below)

Why? Over the years SCELC has found Vendor Day to be a great venue for librarians and vendors to mix and network in an amiable setting, and what better way to mingle than by bowling?

Logistics: The librarians will be adjourning from SCELC Colloquium at approximately 4:30 pm. You'll be able to walk to the bowling alley, as we've moved the tournament back to El Dorado Lanes, which is on Lincoln Blvd adjacent to LMU, across the street and down the block from the Custom Hotel, where most out of town guests will be staying.

Pizza and beverages, provided courtesy of Serials Solutions, will be available at 6:00. The actual bowling commences at approximately 6:30. We expect the tournament to last approximately 2+ hours.

Scoring and Determining a Winner: We'll average scores for vendor and librarian participants respectively. New this year: the two highest scoring librarians and the two highest scoring vendors will compete in a playoff between them! The winner of the playoff gets their name on the SCELC trophy! At the Vendor Day lunch the winner will be presented the trophy, which will then be engraved with the winner and housed at the SCELC office in perpetuity, or until next year's tournament.
