SCELC Vendor Day Bowling Tournament of Champions
Greetings, SCELC Vendor Day participants:
Over the years SCELC has found Vendor Day to be a great venue for librarians and vendors to mix and network in an amiable setting. Join us for the second annual "SCELC Vendor Day Bowling Tournament of Champions" the evening of March 7, 2007.
The event is free, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Serials Solutions.
Logistics
The librarians will be adjourning from the Wednesday SCELC Colloquium at approximately 6pm. We will carpool to the bowling alley. Vendors and librarians will be able to form teams and we'll keep score. We expect the tournament to last approximately 2 hours.
Scoring and Determining a Winner
We'll average scores for vendor and librarian participants respectively and can then declare a winner (SCELC Vendors or SCELC Librarians) based on the highest average among the two groups! The winner will be presented a trophy which will then be engraved with the winners' affiliation and housed at the SCELC office until next year's tournament. (Or, if you have a better idea on how to score this, let us know! We're doing this by the seat of our pants, all in good fun.)
