Ovid will be undergoing many new enhancements this year, including a brand new Ovid interface. Jay will also preview our new and upcoming technology releases and what Ovid has planned in 2005.

Part 1 – Ovid and SilverPlatter enhancements (including Stats, Enhanced Alerts, Gateway Refresh and WebSPIRS 5.1 release)

Part 2 - Linking and federated searching.

SESSION 2 - Rossella Proscia, Academic Product Manager
All the way from our London office, Rossella will be presenting what's new for academic libraries from Ovid. We have new content and technology that will help develop customized resources for libraries.

SESSION 3 - Anne Gervais, Senior Trainer
Our most seasoned trainer will provide review and answer your search questions about Ovid and Silverplatter. This session is open to the novice and experienced Ovid user. Instructional training librarians are encouraged to attend, and others who are interested in learning about how Ovid platforms work.

SESSION 4 - Ovid User's Group Meeting -Rossella Proscia, Jay Chakrapani
(Held inside the Cafeteria)
Please stop by for a round-table meeting with Rossella and Jay. Ovid wants to hear about your content needs as well as how we can enhance our two platforms for you. In order to make this meeting effective and provide more feedback time from individual participants, we are limiting this meeting to a small group.
